Casa Milà Tickets — Where to Buy and How to Skip the Line
Where to buy Casa Milà tickets — Fundació Catalunya La Pedrera (official), GetYourGuide, Tiqets, walk-up — how much skip-the-line actually saves, best times for short queues, and combo-ticket options with Casa Batlló.
You can buy a Casa Milà ticket from at least four different channels — the Fundació Catalunya La Pedrera direct, GetYourGuide, Tiqets, and similar resellers, or in person at the door. Each channel has slightly different prices, slightly different inclusions, and very different queue exposure. This guide compares the booking channels honestly, calculates whether skip-the-line actually saves you anything, identifies the times of day with the shortest queues, and walks through combo-ticket options with Casa Batlló for anyone planning both Gaudí buildings in the same day.

The four ticket channels — what each one is
1. Fundació Catalunya La Pedrera (lapedrera.com) — the official channel
The Fundació Catalunya La Pedrera, founded in 2013 from the former Caixa Catalunya foundation, owns and manages Casa Milà. Booking direct from lapedrera.com goes straight to the venue-owner. The Fundació sells:
- Standard daytime audio-guide ticket
- Premium daytime ticket with expanded content
- Night Experience “The Origins” projection show
- A few seasonal product variations (winter tickets, special evening events, etc.)
The Fundació does not directly sell live small-group guided tours led by an outside expert; for that, you go to a reseller.
2. GetYourGuide — the global reseller our site is built around
GetYourGuide is one of the largest tour-and-experience marketplaces in Europe. The Casa Milà Early-Morning Access Guided Tour on this site is a GetYourGuide listing — sold by GetYourGuide Tours & Tickets GmbH (a reseller), not by the Fundació directly. GetYourGuide listings include:
- Standard Casa Milà skip-the-line + audio guide ($29 on GYG at time of writing, ID 913286 — the most-booked Casa Milà product on the platform with 18,386 reviews at 4.66/5)
- Early-Morning Access Guided Tour ($46 — our featured product, ID 913306, 4.78/5 from 220 reviews)
- Night Experience ($46 reseller listing, ID 913305 — same product as the Fundació direct sale)
- Japanese-language early access ($46, ID 1196401)
- Multi-monument combo tours that include Casa Milà as one stop (Sagrada Família + Modernism + Old Town, 3 Gaudí Houses tour, etc.)
GetYourGuide’s value-add is the marketplace itself: free cancellation up to 24 hours is standard, ratings are aggregated across thousands of past guests, and the booking flow is in your language with prices in your currency.
Operator-vs-venue disclosure (important): GetYourGuide listings for early-morning slots are operated by reseller companies that license slots from the Fundació. The early-morning ticket on this site is operated by a GetYourGuide partner — not “the official Casa Milà tour.” There is no single “official tour”: the Fundació runs its own products, and licenses early-morning slots to third-party operators who run guided versions.
3. Tiqets, Headout, and similar marketplaces
Tiqets and a few similar platforms also resell Fundació tickets, with their own booking flows and (usually) similar prices to GYG. The differences are minor — UI preference, language support, and whether you already have an account. Tiqets sometimes runs short-term price promotions on standard Casa Milà tickets that are slightly below the Fundació list price; GetYourGuide is more consistent on guided early-morning products.
4. Walk-up at the door
You can buy a standard daytime ticket at the door at Passeig de Gràcia 92. In low season (winter weekdays, January–February especially) this works fine and the queue is short. In peak season (Easter week, summer, the long weekends around Sant Jordi and La Mercè) the walk-up queue can be 45–90 minutes long at midday, and timed-entry slots may all be booked when you arrive. The Fundació guarantees walk-up availability only for as long as same-day timed slots have not all sold out.
Price comparison across channels
2026 official prices at the Fundació plus equivalent GYG / Tiqets / walk-up figures (verify on each platform before booking — prices are revised annually, usually in the first quarter):
| Product | Fundació direct (lapedrera.com) | GetYourGuide | Tiqets / Headout | Walk-up |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Essential daytime audio-guide ticket | €25 online | $29 (ID 913286, ≈€26 at current rate) | Around €25–28 | €25 + small box-office surcharge |
| Premium “Open Date” daytime ticket | €31 online | Sometimes listed; usually direct | Sometimes listed | €31 + box-office surcharge |
| Early-Morning Access Guided Tour | Not sold direct | $46 (ID 913306) — featured product | Sometimes listed | Not available walk-up |
| Night Experience “The Origins” | €39.50 online | $46 (ID 913305) reseller of same | Sometimes listed | Cannot guarantee same-night availability |
Skip-the-line value calculation. A standard pre-booked timed-entry ticket (from any channel) saves the walk-up queue, which in peak season is reported in visitor accounts at around 45–90 minutes at midday. At the €25 Essential ticket price, the skip-the-line value is essentially “the cost of pre-booking ahead” — usually nothing extra, or one or two euros of admin fee. Pre-booking is almost always the right call in peak season. In deep low season (January weekday morning, for example) the walk-up queue may be only 5–10 minutes and pre-booking matters less.
The Early-Morning Access tier is different: you are not paying for skip-the-line; you are paying for exclusive access before the building opens to public-ticket holders. There is no walk-up equivalent and no skip-the-line saving to calculate against — the value proposition is the empty building and the live guide.
Best times for the shortest queues (if you are not on a pre-booked tour)
If you are buying a standard ticket and walking up:
| Day / time | Queue length | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Monday–Thursday, 10:00–10:30 (opening) | Short to moderate | Most consistently quiet slot |
| Monday–Thursday, 13:00–14:30 (lunch dip) | Moderate | Local lunch break softens the queue |
| Monday–Thursday, 17:00–closing | Short | Late afternoon dip; light is best at this hour too |
| Friday–Sunday, all daytime hours | Long | Heaviest weekend pressure, especially Saturday |
| Mid-July to end-August, all days | Long | Peak summer crowds |
| Easter week, Sant Jordi week (April), La Mercè week (around Sep 24), Christmas/New Year | Very long | Major Catalan civic / tourist peaks |
| January–February weekdays | Short | Lowest crowds of the year |
Pre-booking a timed slot skips queue entirely on any channel.
Casa Milà + Casa Batlló — combo options
Casa Batlló is the other major Gaudí building on Passeig de Gràcia, 10 minutes’ walk south of Casa Milà. Many visitors do both in the same day, and the question always comes up: is there a combo ticket?
The honest answer. The Fundació Catalunya La Pedrera (Casa Milà) and Casa Batlló SLU (Casa Batlló’s operating company) are independent organisations with independent ticketing. There is no permanent official combo ticket between the two. What you do see:
- Reseller combo products. GetYourGuide, Tiqets, and a few other platforms periodically offer “Casa Milà + Casa Batlló” combo tickets, usually at a small discount versus buying both separately. These are reseller products, not official combos. Availability is intermittent — check the current listings on the booking platform when you book
- The 3 Gaudí Houses Tour (Vicens + Milà + Batlló) is sold on GetYourGuide at $139, 3 hours, with a live guide visiting all three buildings exterior + interior (per the operator’s product description, the tour covers 40 min at Casa Vicens, 45 min at Casa Milà, and 30 min walking on Passeig de Gràcia between buildings)
- Walking tour combos. Several Modernism walking tours (e.g. “Sagrada Familia, Modernism, and Old Town Tour” at $51) include Casa Milà and Casa Batlló as outside photo stops without paid entry — useful if you want context but do not need to go inside both
2026 independent-ticket pricing if you do them separately:
| Building | 2026 ticket price | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Casa Milà (lapedrera.com) | €25 Essential, €31 Premium “Open Date”, €39.50 Night Experience | See ticket-tier section above |
| Casa Batlló (casabatllo.es) | €35 Blue / €40 Silver / €45 Gold / €53 Platinum (online); add €4 box-office surcharge for walk-up | Casa Batlló sells four tiers — Blue is self-guided audio (cheapest), Silver adds AR tablet, Gold adds smart guide + 10D, Platinum is private hours. “Be the First” early-access tier €45 online opens 08:30 AM |
Add the two together and the standard combination runs €60–€78 (€25 Casa Milà Essential + Casa Batlló Blue €35 = €60; up to €25 + €53 Platinum = €78). A reseller combo, when available, typically saves around €5–€10 versus buying both separately.
Time-saving for a Casa Milà + Casa Batlló same-day visit
If you are doing both buildings in one day, the most efficient sequence is:
- Early-morning Casa Milà (the featured tour, 8:00–9:30 — out of the building by 9:30am with the rooftop done)
- Walk south on Passeig de Gràcia to Casa Batlló (10 minutes, you pass Casa Amatller and several Modernisme apartment blocks on the way)
- Mid-morning Casa Batlló (10:00 entry slot, before peak crowds build at Casa Batlló around 11:30am)
- Lunch in the Eixample, then optional afternoon move to Sagrada Família (15-min metro) or Park Güell (separate half-day)
Doing the buildings in the reverse order is also workable, but the early-morning Casa Milà slot is the only time of day when the Casa Milà rooftop is calm and the morning light is right; if you flip the sequence, you give that up.
Multi-monument Gaudí itineraries (when Casa Milà is one stop)
If your trip covers multiple Gaudí monuments — Casa Milà, Casa Batlló, Sagrada Família, Park Güell, Casa Vicens — the routing question gets more interesting. The full UNESCO “Works of Antoni Gaudí” inscription includes seven properties; visiting all of them in one trip is a 2-day project minimum. For full multi-monument itinerary planning, our sister site barcelonagaudi.tours covers the routing.
2026 per-monument official pricing if you buy each separately:
| Monument | 2026 adult ticket | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Casa Milà | €25 Essential / €31 Premium / €39.50 Night | This site’s subject (lapedrera.com) |
| Casa Batlló | €35 Blue / €40 Silver / €45 Gold / €53 Platinum (+ €4 box-office surcharge) | casabatllo.es; “Be the First” €45 opens 08:30 AM |
| Sagrada Família | €26 standard / €36 with tower access | sagradafamilia.org |
| Park Güell Monumental Zone | €18 | parkguell.barcelona |
| Casa Vicens | €21–22 online / €23–24 box office | casavicens.org; first Gaudí house, opened to public 16 November 2017 |
| Palau Güell | €15 (free first Sunday of each month with advance booking) | palauguell.cat; Gaudí’s early mansion off La Rambla |
Park Güell sells out daily timed slots more aggressively than any of the others — pre-book at least 48 hours ahead in peak season.
Cancellation, refund, and date-change policies
Every channel has its own cancellation policy; the strictest is walk-up (no refund) and the most flexible is the GYG reseller policy (free cancellation up to 24 hours before the slot). Always check the specific listing’s cancellation terms — they vary slightly by product even on the same platform.
For the featured tour on this site:
- Free cancellation up to 24 hours before the tour start time, for a full refund
- After the 24-hour window, the booking is non-refundable
- Date changes are sometimes possible if you contact the operator promptly — check the booking confirmation for exact terms
Putting it together — which channel for which visitor
